A&E Sets Premiere Dates for Damien and Bates Motel Season Four

publicity still of Vera Farmiga and Freddie Highmore for Bates Motel

A&E has just reached out to share a return date for Bates Motel Season Four and also to announce the debut of season one of the Omen spinoff Damien. Head inside for the full announcement.

Bates Motel Season Four will debut on A&E Monday March 7th at 9PM and will be followed by Damien at 10PM.

Damien will feature Bradley James in the titular role. The sequel series was originally set to air on the Lifetime network but like we perviously mentioned, it will now be housed at A&E. The series will follow Damien Thorne as an adult. When the A&E network took over the series, they   bumped the episode order from six to ten. Bradley James, Barbara Hershey, Omid Abtahi and Megalyn Echikunwoke star in the spinoff effort.

Bates Motel tells the origin story of Norman Bates as a teenager, prior to the events of Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho. The series focuses on Norman’s transformation into the cinematic monster fans know so well. The first three seasons of the show have proven very character driven and have resonated with fans in a major way. Bates Motel stars Freddie Highmore as Norman Bates and Vera Farmiga as Norma Bates.

Stay tuned to the site in the coming months for more coverage on both shows as it is announced!
