Dark Regions Press has reached out with a major announcement. They will be releasing the next tome from horror auteur Clive Barker, The Body Book. According to the press release, Barker’s The Body Book will mesh film and literature in one of their biggest releases of the year. Read the full details here.

Dark Regions Press is the award winning publisher of Clive Barker’s The Midnight Meat Train Special Definitive Edition. Pre-orders will begin any day now. Also worthy of mention:  The book is expected to be available in three signed limited edition hardcover formats. Only 500 copies of each version will be printed and will be the only signed limited edition copies of the book ever to be made available to the public. Expect more details on that as soon as we hear anything else. 

As for what will be included in the book, you can expect two existing Barker stories from Books of Blood, exclusive content from the cinematic adaptation of The Body Politic and info on the In the Flesh film that was never produced. There will also be contributions from filmmaker Mick Garris in the form of never-before-seen photos, writings, interviews and more!

The press release also revealed that The Body Book will include paintings and artwork by Barker. In addition, it may also include a new original painting for the cover artwork of the book if scheduling allows. Take a look at the cover mockup pictured to the left. 

Clive Barker’s The Body Book is scheduled for a Summer 2015 preorder on DarkRegions.com and is expected to sell out extremely fast.
