Festival Standout Intruders Secures VOD and Limited Theatrical Release in New Year

Intruders

The critically acclaimed festival hit Intruders (previously titled Shut In) has secured a release date in the New Year. We have all the details on that and more for you after the break.

The film will see a VOD and simultaneous limited theatrical release January 15, 2016. It stars Beth Reisgraf (TV’s Complications), Jack Kesy (TV’s The Strain), Martin Starr (Dead Snow), Rory Culkin (Scream 4), and one of my absolute favorite people, Leticia Jimenez (Jake’s Road). You can see my exclusive interview with Leticia Jimenez right here.

Intruders was directed by Adam Schindler and written by T.J. Cimfel and David White, both of whom penned the VHS: Viral segment ‘Vicious Circles’.

The press release describes Intruders as Panic Room meets You’re Next. “After three criminals, including fan favorite Martin Starr, break into a supposedly empty house, they find themselves in a deadly game of cat and mouse with the occupant, a shy young woman with a few nasty tricks of her own to play on the invaders.”
