Today sees the release of a series of images, featuring Kane Hodder in his upcoming film, Death House. Among the pics are shots of Hodder in prison garb, as well as a look at the actor connected to a machine that looks a bit reminiscent of Total Recall. In addition to Hodder, the impressive cast includes Robert Englund, Doug Bradley, Kane Hodder, Sid Haig, Bill Moseley, Danny Trejo, Tony Todd, Felissa Rose, Tiffany Shepis, Adrienne Barbeau, Barbara Crampton, Vincent Ward, Debbie Rochon and Vernon Wells.
The project is directed by B. Harrison Smith. The concept was originally imagined by the late, great Gunnar Hansen. Smith has since adapted the original idea for the screen.
The film is expected to commence principal photography this month and is targeting a release sometime in 2017.
Death House centers around a top secret, underground government facility (Appropriately housed at Area 51) that serves as home to the dredges of society. The worst of the worst. Prisoners are locked up there and the key is subsequently thrown away. However, things go awry when a group of prisoners stage an escape and wreak much havoc after gaining their freedom.
