We have two new images from the highly anticipated DC super villain flick Suicide Squad. They come courtesy of the film’s writer director David Ayer on Twitter. One is a first look at the ensemble cast in costume and the other is Will Smith as Deadshot. Naturally, we have your first look at both images after the break.
Suicide Squad will feature Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnaman), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), and Echantress (Cara Delevingne), and Will Smith (Deadshot). There have also been rumors that we can expect to see Deathstroke, King Shark, and Plastique popping up in the film. Noticeably absent from the photo is Jared Leto’s Joker but since he is not actually an official member of the squad, his involvement with the film will likely be in some other capacity.
The Suicide Squad are a motley crew of super villains that have reluctantly partnered with the government to take on the work no one else wants to. In exchange for their efforts, they receive reduced sentences or other benefits.
The film is currently slated for release August 5, 2016. Stay tuned to the site between now and then and we will keep you in the loop as more information is announced regarding this upcoming project.
