Jeepers Creepers 3 Will be a Direct Sequel to First Film

Jeepers Creepers 3 - Jeepers Creepers third instalment.

We have just gotten word that Jeepers Creepers 3 will be a direct sequel to the first film and will bridge into the second. And if previous reports are to be believed, it will also set up the fourth installment. This latest round of news comes from BD.

Still no word on when the film will see release but we do know that production has wrapped and the postproduction process has commenced.

As we have said before, Gina Phillips will be back but her role is expected to be more of a cameo than the starring role she was previously expected to feature in. Phillips has said that she will feature in a larger role in the fourth film.

Victor Salva wrote and directed the third installment. Actor Jonathan Breck returned as The Creeper. Meg Foster (They Live), Chester Rushing (Stranger Things), Ryan Moore (Pitchfork), Patrick Thomas Cragin (How to Be a Vampire), and Brandon Smith (From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series) all appear. The sequel lensed in Louisiana.

it was previously reported that Adrienne Barbeau was cast in a role in the upcoming Jeepers Creepers 3. But shortly after that news broke, the actress took to social media to deny her involvement. It was later reported that Meg Foster would be replacing the Swamp Thing actress. Reports then surfaced alleging that Barbeau left the production as a result of director Victor Salva’s past conviction for child molestation. Barbeau has not confirmed those claims.

Francis Ford Coppola (who produced the first two) co-produced the threequel with Odyssey Media, and The Cartel. Kirk D’Amico executive produced.
The two previous films collectively grossed over $120 million at the global box office. Stay tuned for more on this title as it is announced!
