Yesterday we brought you a brand new trailer for Blair Witch and today we have a new one sheet to share with you! Take a look at it for yourself below. It should definitely conjure memories of the original film but with a wicked twist.
Blair Witch (shot under the working title The Woods) was shrouded in secrecy until its world premiere at San Diego Comic-Con. It wasn’t until that very moment that it was officially revealed that The Woods was actually a Blair Witch Project threequel. It is set for release September 16th.
The film will follow the first in that Heather Donahue’s brother believes she is still alive and goes into the woods with a group of his college friends to look for her. Naturally, they realize that they are not alone.
Blair Witch was directed by Adam Wingard and the screenplay was penned by Simon Barrett. It stars Valorie Curry, Callie Hernandez, and James Allen McCune. Roy Lee, Steven Schneider, Keith Calder, and Jessica Wu served as producers.
