In July of 2003, Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund) and Jason Voorhees (Ken Kirzinger) were in attendance for a pre-fight weigh in and subsequent press conference at Bally’s in Las Vegas. The event was timed to closely coincide with the premiere of Freddy vs. Jason. The odds had Jason as the favorite, with Freddy as the underdog.
Fred Krueger was trash talking from the moment he strutted on stage for the weigh in and Jason was stoic and silent, as per usual.
During the press conference portion of the event, audience members lobbed questions at Jason. The hockey-masked killer sat in silence staring, while Freddy shot zingers at him, amusing both himself and the audience.
