In news that’s surprising to no one, Ryan Murphy has confirmed that Sarah Paulson will be returning for the upcoming fifth season of American Horror Story.
Paulson has previously appeared on every other season of the series and joins recently announced cast members Kathy Bates, Lady Gaga and Chloe Sevigny.
Series creator Ryan Murphy took to Twitter to make the announcement today. Very little is known about the storyline of the fifth season at this point. But speculations have already been made that this will be a loose retelling of the crimes of serial killer H.H. Holmes and his “Murder Castle”.
