Trailer for STX Entertainment’s The Boy is Creepy as Hell

The Boy
STX Entertainment has dropped a brand new trailer for their creepy killer doll film The Boy. We have your first look at the new trailer after the break. The film looks vaguely reminiscent of pictures like Child’s Play and Annabelle but with a different atmosphere than either of those titles.
The Boy will enjoy a nationwide release January 22, 2016. The film is directed by William Brent Bell (The Devil Inside and Stay Alive) and written by Stacey Menear (this is his first produced screenplay).

“Greta is a young American woman who takes a job as a nanny in a remote English village, only to discover that the family’s 8-year-old is a life-sized doll that the parents care for just like a real boy, as a way to cope with the death of their actual son 20 years prior. After violating a list of strict rules, a series of disturbing and inexplicable events bring Greta’s worst nightmare to life, leading her to believe that the doll is actually alive.”

Stay tuned to the site in the coming months for more on this as it develops. And let us know what you thought of the trailer in the comments section below!
