Comic Review: Predator Hunters #1 is an exciting start to a new series

Predator Hunters

The Predators, of the beloved comic and movie franchises, are back in the thrilling new series Predator Hunters from Dark Horse Comics. Predator Hunters revolves around a team of humans who are tired of Predators being the more advanced killer species and have decided to take the fight to the Predator’s door and, with it, our alpha species status.

The first installment in the series sets up a strong concept that will hopefully continue the momentum for the rest of the following comics. The main character, Nakai, is subjected to racism from his overbearing, annoyingly over the top Texan boss, but his life is changed when he is approached by three people who want to feed his lust for revenge (and his general bloodlust.) Through the group’s interaction with Nakai, you get a sense of how much of human history is intertwined with the presence of Predators.

Predator Hunters 2

Overall, Predator Hunters is an interesting comic with beautiful artwork and an intriguing story that I am more than excited to join along for the ride–as you should be too!

Check it out when the first issue is released on May 3rd, 2017!
