We have a brand new trailer and one sheet from Death Wish to share with you. I wish I could say that it looks incredible but I cannot. Gone is the raw and gritty aesthetic and sense of foreboding that were ever-present in the original. Judging by this trailer, the update looks like a smarmy, and unnecessary cash grab. But, perhaps I am being too quick to judge. Time will tell.

The film will see release on November 22nd, just in time for Thanksgiving 2017. It will be released by MGM, in partnership with the newly-minted Annapurna Pictures.

The redux stars Bruce Willis (The Sixth Sense), Vincent D’Onofrio (Sinister), Kimberly Elise (Set it Off), Mike Epps (Resident Evil: Apocalypse), Elisabeth Shue (Hollow Man), and Dean Norris (Breaking Bad).

The original 1974 revenge thriller (which famously starred Charles Bronson) sees a vigilante architect setting out on a  revenge spree.

Before Roth signed on to remake Death Wish, he walked away from a long-awaited big screen adaptation of Steve Alten’s killer shark novel Meg, which Jon Turteltaub took over directorial duties on.

Stay tuned to the site for more info on this project as we learn it as well as the latest in horror news.
