Gift Guide: Hellraiser Puzzle Cube

Hellraiser: Judgment - Michael Myers vs Pinhead - Hellraiser - Clive Barker Adaptations

Gift Guide is a recurring segment on Wicked Horror where we showcase macabre inspired gift ideas for you or the horror fan in your life. Have an idea for something we should feature on Gift Guide? Let us know in the comments below. On this installment, we are showcasing a very special puzzle cube, modeled on the Hellraiser series’ infamous Lament Configuration.

The fine folks over at Mezcotoyz have outdone themselves yet again with the cube, which is a fully-functioning puzzle. It rotates on the X and Y axes and there are over 43,252,003,274,489,856,000 possible combinations.

The site notes the cube is “suitable for use as a fiendishly confounding puzzle or as a film replica display piece” but, obviously, it’s not being marketed with children in mind (we hope).

The Hellraiser puzzle cube even features artwork based on the designs of Philip Lemarchand, the fictional creator of the box who is name-checked in The Hellbound Heart.

In the context of the movies, the Lament Configuration is the key to the gates of Hell itself and is also, naturally, the summoner of the Cenobites.

If you’re brave enough, you can pre-order one of the puzzle cubes for a steal at $13 a piece from the Mezcotoyz site right here.

For anyone worried about summoning Pinhead and his buddies, there’s a fuzzy dice option that may be more to your liking.
