Paramount has released a brand new teaser trailer in support of the upcoming release of Rings. You can check it out for yourself after the break!
The picture stars Vincent D’Onofrio (Sinister), Johnny Galecki (I Know What You Did Last Summer), and Bonnie Morgan will reprise her role as Samara. She first appeared as the character in an uncredited appearance in The Ring 2. The actress and contortionist has also appeared in The Devil Inside, The Last Witch Hunter, and Piranha 3D.
Rings will be released in theaters February 3rd, 2017. As we previously reported, Javier Gutiérrez, the director of the upcoming installment, has promised that his new film will absolutely be a sequel and not a prequel to The Ring.
Akiva Goldsman, David Loucka and Jacob Aaron Estes co-penned the script, which is based on a novel by Koji Suzuki.

A young woman becomes worried about her boyfriend when he explores a dark subculture surrounding a mysterious videotape said to kill the watcher seven days after he has viewed it. She sacrifices herself to save her boyfriend and in doing so makes a horrifying discovery: there is a “movie within the movie” that no one has ever seen before…”
