The Belko Experiment Acquires Distro Out Of TIFF

Director Greg Mc Lean’s (The Darkness, Wolf Creek) latest feature, The Belko Experiment has just acquired distribution following its Midnight Madness debut at the Tortonto International Film Festival 2016.

The movie, which is written and co-produced by the legendary James Gunn, stars John Gallagher Jr. (10 Cloverfield Lane), John C. McGinley (Scrubs), Sean Gunn (Super), Michael Rooker (Slither, The Walking Dead) and many others is due to be released in theaters on March 17, 2017.

BH Tilt, Blumhouse’s releasing company, will handle the US distribution of the flick. They are also handling Incarnate, which is due in theaters on December 2nd.

The premise for what Gunn called “edgy and unique” and Mc Clean described as “an unforgettable ride” is as follows:

The Belko Experiment explores a twisted social experiment, in which a group of 80 Americans are locked in their high-rise corporate office in Bogata, Colombia, and ordered by an unknown voice coming from the company’s intercom system to participate in a deadly game of kill or be killed

Stay tuned to Wicked Horror for teaser trailers and more images as the release draws closer.
