Cooties Infects the Net with New One Sheet!

Cooties

We have a brand new one sheet to share with you in support of the upcoming release of Cooties. Head inside for your first look at the newly debuted poster art!

This latest round of artwork abandons the minimalist approach that was utilized in the lollipop poster and the children at play one sheet. I was personally a much bigger fan of the previous, more simplistic looking versions but that’s not to say that I dislike the latest incarnation which made its debut via EW today.

Cooties previously screened (with a reshot ending and additional scenes) at the Stanley Film Festival and is now slated to hit select theaters and VOD  outlets September 18th. In the meantime, check out a newly released one sheet below.

The film is produced by Elijah Wood’s production company SpectreVision (formerly known as Woodshed). With the exception of Leigh Whannell, the rest of the creative team is fairly new to feature filmmaking. Cooties is directed by Cary Murnion and Jonathan Milott. This picture marks their first feature film directorial effort. The script in co-penned by Insidious 3 director Leigh Whannell and Ian Brennan. Cooties marks Brennan’s first feature film writing credit.

Cooties ensemble cast includes Elijah Wood, Rainn Wilson, Alison Pill, Jack McBrayer, Leigh Whannell, Nasim Pedrad, Ian Brennan and Jorgé Garcia.

Cooties takes place at a rural primary school that is struck by a strange virus which turns its students into little monsters. The faculty must band together to formulate a plan if they stand any hope of survival. Led by an unexpected hero, the staff works together to take on the little creeps that are keen to make a snack out of their teachers.
