Dark Sky has just released a new poster in support of the upcoming release of their new horror picture Late Phases. The film is slated for a limited theatrical bow beginning November 21st. Come inside and take a look at the latest round of artwork for Adrian Garcia Bogliano’s Late Phases.
The premise for this upcoming title is a bit unusual but that’s not a bad thing. It’s set in a retirement community and the protagonists of the film are residents of that community. It stars Nick Damici (Stake Land) as Ambrose, a war vet with an adult son who forces him to relocate to a senior living community. When Ambrose arrives, he doesn’t fit in with the other residents but they soon realize that he may be just the person to help put a stop to the string of attacks that have been going on in the area. Ambrose quickly discovers that the attacks are being staged by a creature that is neither human nor animal.
Adrian Garcia Bogliano seems to have a predisposition for the over 60 set. His film Cold Sweat told the story of two geriatric men who would lure young women to their home only to torture them with the massive quantities of nitroglycerin they had at their disposal. Oh well. It worked in Cold Sweat. So, if it’s not broken, don’t fix it.
