Release Date for Stephen King’s The Dark Tower Pushed Back…Again

The release of The Dark Tower has been pushed back yet again. It’s still poised for a summer release. You’ll just have to wait a little longer. The picture has been pushed back from its July 28, 2017 release date to August 4, 2017.

Nikolaj Arcel (The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo 2009) is at the helm of the upcoming adaptation. He also cowrote the script with Anders Thomas Jensen, Akiva Goldsman, and Jeff Pinkner. Idris Elba, Matthew McConaughey, Fran Kranz, Jackie Earle Haley, Abbey Lee, and Tom Taylor star.

There will also be a television series based on the property that will run in between feature film installments. Stay tuned for more on this project as we learn it!
