We have just learned that Tremors 6 has been dated for release. Star Michael Gross made the announcement on his Facebook page.
His post read: “YOU HEARD IT HERE!!! Universal Studios Hollywood tells me that the tentative release date for Tremors 6 will be January 30, 2018. I appreciate that many of you would like to see it sooner, but I will keep you busy with behind the scenes posts.”
So, there you have it, the film is tentatively scheduled for a January 30, 2018 release. And it’s great to hear that Gross will help pass the time until then with behind-the-scenes shots and more.
In addition to Micheal Gross, the sixth installment in the series will also feature returning cast member Jamie Kennedy (Scream).
Don Michael Paul was at the helm of the picture. He previously directed the fifth installment in the franchise. A series based on the property is being developed at Amazon (according to Kevin Bacon). But it has been several months since we have heard anything in regards to that.
The original remains one of the most beloved cult classics of the ’90s and in addition to the direct-to-video sequels, it, also spawned a short lived television series in 2003.
The original Tremors film saw a town plagued by underground creatures called graboids that were intent upon whittling down the town’s population.
