Directed by Peter Yates and starring Cher, Dennis Quaid, Liam Neeson, John Mahoney, and Joe Mantegna, Suspect follows Kathleen Riley (Cher), an overworked public defender. Kathleen is assigned to represent Carl Wayne Anderson (Neeson), a deaf veteran accused of murder. Facing one obstacle after another, Kathleen struggles to communicate with her violent client while going up against an antagonistic judge (Mahoney). At the same time, her conflicting sense of ethics with a charming juror (Quaid) might be the only thing that will save her life as unknown dangers start to close in.

Suspect is a stylish neo noir film loaded with suspenseful moments and a stellar cast led by the ever-talented Cher. Amongst the shadows of the unforgiving streets, this feature blends a bleak reality, law and order, and a political mystery.  Suspect is for the horror fan that enjoys an 80’s thriller within a courtroom setting.
