The Guest comes from the same creative team responsible for the ass-kicking home invasion thriller You’re Next. As with their previous collaboration, Adam Wingard is at the helm and Simon Barrett has penned the screenplay. The picture stars Dan Stevens (Vamps), Maika Monroe (Bad Blood), and Ethan Embry (Vacancy).
The premise of The Guest sees a soldier returning home from war and seeking out the family of one of one of his comrades who fell in battle. He works his way into their hearts but something about him isn’t quite right. Everywhere he goes, a trail of unexplained deaths seem to follow.
