The Mist will make its television premiere on Spike Thursday June 22nd at 10/9C. In the meantime, you can check out the teaser trailer for yourself, below.
As for the series’ cast, we will be seeing newcomer Gus Birney as Alex Cunningham; Dan Butler (Silence of the Lambs) will be taking on the role of Father Romanov; Newcomer Luke Cosgrove will play the role of Jay Heisel; Danica Curcic (The Absent One) will appear as Mia Lambert; Okie Morro (World War Z) will appear as Jonah Dixon; Darren Pettie (The Scarecrow) will be playing Connor Heisel; Russell Posner (The D Train) will feature as Adrian Garff, and Isiah Whitlock, Jr. (Chips) will play Gus Redman. Prior to the latest round of announcements, we revealed that Frances Conroy (American Horror Story) and Alyssa Sutherland (Don’t Look Up) would both be joining the cast.
The pilot was helmed by Adam Bernstein (Better Call Saul, Breaking Bad). SpikeTV bumped the original order for a pilot to a total of ten one-hour episodes. The project will be written and executive produced by Christian Torpe (Rita).
Similar to the feature film, the television version of The Mist will follow the residents of a small town as they deal with a mist of unknown origin that initially seems harmless but soon proves to be quite deadly.
