MGM and Fox 2000 Pictures have teamed up with Trulia for a pretty genius marketing campaign. The real estate site has exclusively debuted the listing for the house used in Poltergeist. Fans that visit the listing page can gain access to exclusive features and images. For example, the site lists ‘crimes’ that have been reported at the address and more. To find out what horror possess 1295 Brimstone Ave, head over to the Trulia website.

After you check it out, head back here and let us know your thoughts on the campaign in the comments section below.

Poltergeist will be make its theatrical debut May 22, 2015. The picture will be presented in 3D upon release.

The remake is directed by Gil Kenan and written by  David Lindsay-Abaire. The onscreen talent includes Sam Rockwell, Jared Harris, Rosemarie DeWitt, and Nicholas Braun. The project is produced by long time collaborators Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert via the Ghost House banner.

Like in the 1982 original, the core concept of a family’s youngest child being taken away by supernatural entities will remain a core plot point. But the concept has been updated for modern audiences in an attempt to try to improve upon some of the elements of the original film that may not have aged particularly well. We will keep you apprised as more news is made available regarding this release.
