We Now Present to You: Wes Anderson’s The Witch

The Witch

In yet another testament to the power of editing and scoring, CineFix has recut a trailer for The Witch that reimagines it as if it were directed by Wes Anderson (The Royal Tenenbaums). The results are, predictably, hilarious. Check it out for yourself in the player below.

In The Witch, a family of seven relocates to a remote part of New England after being banished from their church. They set out with plans to start anew but their meager existence is challenged when their youngest child is abducted and killed by a witch. This leads to panic, distrust amongst the family unit, and an eventual descent into utter madness.

The film marks Robert Eggers feature film directorial debut. It stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Ralph Ineson, Kate Dickie, Harvey Scrimshaw, Ellie Grainger, and Lucas Dawson. Details on bonus content listed below. You can check out our rave review here.
