Green River Killer Graphic Novel to Become A Feature Film Staring Michael Sheen

Michael Sheen Green River Killer

Wicked Horror has just learned that the 2011 Dark Horse graphic novel Green River Killer: A True Detective Story is set to receive the feature film treatment. The projected will be produced by QC Entertainment, who released Pride, Prejudice, and Zombies in February of this year.

Michael Sheen (Masters of Sex, Underworld, Tron: Legacy) is slated to star as the titular character and will also be at the helm.

Green River Killer: A True Detective Story follows Tom Jensen, a King County Sheriff’s Officer (who is also the author’s father) and his twenty year search for Gary Ridgeway, one of America’s most prolific serial killers.

The graphic novel should translate well to the screen, as it is a profound story that captures Officer Jensen’s struggle with the horrific murders and how it affected him personally and professionally.

Green River Killer: A True Detective Story is currently in pre-production and has no release date as of yet. Stay tuned to Wicked Horror for more updates on the movie as they become available.
