Insidious: Chapter 4 is steadily gaining steam. We’ve recently learned that Adam Robitel (The Taking of Deborah Logan) will be directing, as well as that the picture is targeting an October 20, 2017 release date. Today, we have news regarding four new cast members who have been added to the casting roster!
Kirk Acevedo (SyFy’s 12 Monkeys), Bruce Davison (X-Men), Spencer Locke (Resident Evil: Afterlife) and Caitlin Gerard (Smiley) have all joined the cast of the upcoming picture, according to Deadline. The series newcomers will join returning cast members Lin Shaye, Leigh Whannell and Angus Sampson.
As with previous installments in the series, Leigh Whannell is scripting. James Wan will be back to produce, as will Oren Peli and Jason Blum. Whannell previously suggested that this installment might take place in the time between the third film and the first. But that has not been officially confirmed at this point.
