A&E has just reached out with a brand new one sheet and teaser trailer in support of season four of Bates Motel. The series’ fourth season will begin airing Monday March 7th at 9 PM and will be followed by the series premiere of Damien.
The new teaser art, which you can check out below, hints that we will be seeing more of Norman’s transformation into Mother in the upcoming season. The teaser trailer promises more bloodshed in the upcoming season. You can also scope that below.
The series stars Freddie Highmore as Norman Bates and Vera Farmiga as Norma Bates. Highmore and Farmiga were just announced as nominees for Critic’s Choice Television Awards in the categories of Best Actor and Best Actress in a Drama.
Bates Motel tells the origin story of Norman Bates as a teenager, prior to the events of Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho. The series focuses on Norman’s transformation into the cinematic monster fans know so well. The first three seasons of the show have proven very character driven and have resonated with fans in a major way.
