The upcoming horror sequel Seed 2 has been rebranded as Bloody Valley: Seed’s Revenge. It has also secured a DVD and VOD release date. The film will street under its new title October 7, 2014.
Bloody Valley: Seed’s Revenge follows the events of the 2007 Uwe Boll helmed horror film Seed. This time around, Marcel Walz (Candy House) is taking over directorial duties and has also penned the screenplay for the follow up effort. Bloody Valley: Seed’s Revenge will star Natalie Scheetz (Madison County) and Caroline Williams (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2). And Nick Principe (Hatchet II) will be taking over for Will Sanderson as Max Seed. I wasn’t really aware that fans of the original Seed film were demanding a sequel. But we’re getting one anyway, like it or not.
The second film will essentially mirror the events of the first film but with a new cast of characters and a seemingly weaker storyline. Here’s the official plot synopsis: While driving home from a bachelorette party, Christine and her friends come across a mysterious woman who leads them straight into mass murderer Max Seed’s trap. Seeking revenge from a mishap years ago, the blood soaked madman is determined to inflict insufferable pain on anyone who crosses his path.
