Earlier this year a playable trailer for Allison Road was announced, the intention being that this first-person survival horror game would satisfy horror fans dying for a Silent Hill P.T. experience.
Originally, Allison Road had a Kickstarter but before it could be fully funded by fan contributions, it was picked up by the Team17 Development studio. This was supposed to be exciting for those making Allison Road and they cancelled the campaign, but unfortunately Team17 and the developers had a falling out, so the game was cancelled.
Those already getting excited for Allison Road’s release were left disappointed, but fear not horror fans! Christian Keselr, the founder of Lilith Limited and lead developer on Allison Road, announced just this week that the game is back in business!
Under Kesler’s new studio, Far From Home, he will be handling the development and hopefully finishing the horror game the way that it deserves. Kesler has not given a release date yet, or offered any further details. But through the new Allison Road Facebook page he has stressed that he will be giving the game all the TLC it needs for it to be an amazing experience.
We’ll bring you more info as it becomes available. Make sure to stay tuned to Wicked Horror for must-read video game news.
