In the seedy underbelly of the Internet, there’s an unwritten rule, rule zero: Don’t F**k With Cats. In December of 2010, this rule was torn to shreds following the publishing of a video called 1 boy 2 Kittens. It depicted a hooded young man asphyxiating two tabbies with a vacuum cleaner and a plastic bag. This horrifying clip sparked outrage among several Internet communities, resulting in an international manhunt for the video’s publisher.

The upcoming Netflix docuseries, Don’t F*ck with Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer, details the real life search for Canadian killer Luka Magnotta and how his animal torture eventually escalated to murder. It is narrated by some of the Internet sleuths that tracked him down.
