The picture stars Vincent D’Onofrio (Sinister) and Johnny Galecki (I Know What You Did Last Summer). And Bonnie Morgan will reprise her role as Samara. Morgan first appeared as the character in an uncredited appearance in The Ring 2. The actress and contortionist has also featured in The Devil Inside, The Last Witch Hunter, and Piranha 3D.
Rings will be released in theaters February 3rd, 2017. As we previously reported, Javier Gutiérrez, the director of the upcoming installment, has promised that his new film will absolutely be a sequel and not a prequel to The Ring.
Akiva Goldsman, David Loucka and Jacob Aaron Estes co-penned the script, which is based on a novel by Koji Suzuki.
