It’s Friday and you know what that means: It’s time to figure out what you’ll be binging during the upcoming week. Welcome back to New on Netflix! The streaming giant’s horror department has always been a mixed bag. However, I’d say they’ve really stepped up their game in the last couple of years with the release of amazing, essential watches. We’ve been treated to must see original programming like The Haunting of Hill House, Velvet Buzzsaw, Hush, and some of the classics we all know and love.
This week we have four new binge worthy shows!
Curon
Arriving on June 10th is the Italian sci-fi thriller, Curon, which follows two teenage twins who must unravel the façade surrounding their mother’s mysterious disappearance that occurred shortly after their arrival to her hometown.
Reality Z
Also arriving on June 10th is Reality Z; when a zombie outbreak plagues Rio de Janerio, the studio that’s home to reality show Olimpo becomes a makeshift shelter for the show’s participants and producers.
The Search
Arriving June 12th is limited series The Search. Based on a true story, the series follows the disappearance of a young girl near a suburb near Mexico City. But investigators are stalled from finding her when the personal goals of individuals in power get in the way.
The Woods
Arriving on June 12th is Polish drama The Woods. Based on the novel of the same name by Harlan Coben, The Woods delves into a 25 year old mystery when a prosecutors hopes in solving his sisters disappearance when a body is discovered in some nearby woods.
