As much as many say they are now bored with the Paranormal Activity franchise, I’m not. I love all the movies no matter how predictable yet confusing they’ve become and I will be checking out their new installment, Paranormal Activity 5, when it finally releases.
Originally slated for an October 2013 release, Paranormal Activity 5 was later delayed to October 2014. Subsequently, in June 2014 the film’s release was delayed again to 2016. This new installment is set to feature Katie Featherston (Katie), the only actress to appear in all five installments of the movie.
Although there has been countless speculation, the plot or full cast isn’t currently fully known. We do know that as well as Katie we have young Tyler Craig as character “Devon” cast for Paranormal Activity 5. It has also been said to follow a brand new family, who will presumably find an excuse to kit their house out with cameras, because everyone loves to be watched sleeping.
Paranormal Activity 5 will be directed by Gregory Plotkin, editor of the past four Paranormal Activity films and marks Gregory’s directorial debut. It is also scripted by Andrew Stark, Jason Pagan and Oren Peli.
All I can say for the Paranormal Activity franchise is; keep them coming!
