The anticipated full length trailer to Terminator Genisys is finally here! Yesterday we brought to you the motion poster and teaser trailer for the sci-fi reboot, and now, we have the first look at it’s official trailer!
Terminator Genisys will be a continuity of the entire Terminator franchise by recreating scenes from the first two films in the series. John Connor, leader of the resistance continues the war against the machines when fears of the unknown future begin to emerge. TECOM spies reveal a new plot by SkyNet that will attack him from both fronts; past and future, and will ultimately change warfare forever.
Terminator Genisys will feature a man-machine hybrid as its primary antagonist which the filmmakers describe as a “visual game changer.”
Directed by Thor: The Dark World‘s Alan Taylor from a screenplay by Laeta Kalogridis (Night Watch) and Patrick Lussier (Drive Angry). Terminator Genisys was shot in New Orleans and stars Arnold Schwarzenegger (as T-800), Jason Clarke as John Conner (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) and Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones). Jai Courtney (Divergent), J.K. Simmons (The Closer), Dayo Okeniyi (The Hunger Games), Byung Hun Lee (I Saw the Devil) and Matt Smith (Doctor Who TV Series).
Hitting theaters on July 1, 2015, Terminator Genisys is the first in a planned trilogy of films.
